Top 5 Consumer Finance Apps on Android in Egypt: Q4 2022

In the fourth quarter of 2022, Egypt's top five consumer finance applications on the Android platform showed diverse performance trends in terms of downloads and active users. Here is an overview of how these apps fared, based on data from Sensor Tower.

NBE Mobile from the National Bank of Egypt saw fluctuations in its weekly downloads, peaking at around 61.7K in late October and ending the quarter with approximately 40.8K downloads in the last week of December. Active users increased steadily from about 407K in late September to 559K by the end of December.

BM Online published by Banque Misr experienced a modest but steady download rate, ranging from 9.7K to 15.9K downloads per week. Active users showed a slight decline from 163K in late September to 129K by the end of December.

CashKateb by Cassbana B.V. had a significant spike in early October with downloads reaching up to 20.4K, but this number decreased sharply to around 1.6K by mid-December. Active users for CashKateb similarly showed a rise to about 39K in mid-October, then fluctuated to finish at approximately 26.3K by the end of the quarter.

CIB Egypt Mobile Banking from CIB Egypt saw weekly downloads peak at around 11K in early October, with a gradual decline to 7K by the end of December. Active users also showed a downward trend from 151K in late September to 132K by the end of the quarter.

QNB Egypt Mobile Banking by QNB had its highest downloads in the last week of December, reaching around 6.1K, while the lowest was in early November at approximately 2.9K. The number of active users increased from 73K in late September to 83K by the end of December.
